Saman Me Kala

I'm Saman Me Kala, a multidisciplinary artist from Karimnagar, South India, currently based in Auroville. With a background in graphic design, photography, and performing arts, my work explores identity, memory, and emotional storytelling through mixed media, movement, and film. I'm trained under Surya Performance Lab, blending physical theatre with personal narrative. My work often merges surreal visuals, experimental soundscapes, and queer themes, creating spaces for embodied introspection and cultural reclamation. My projects include visual collaborations with IIM Ahmedabad, SplashBI, AP government, I'm exploring performances around queer expression and inner transformation. I look forward to investigate the split-self as both performer and observer in my work.
